Our Story

Hi, I’m Claudia, founder of DLC Glow Cosmetics.

DLC Glow Cosmetics was born from my personal journey through cancer—a journey that changed my life forever.

I am the mother of two wonderful daughters, and while I was managing the everyday responsibilities of being a mom and also working, something that would change my world was happening behind the scenes. In December 2025, I was diagnosed with tongue cancer. I was shocked and devastated. I couldn’t understand why it was happening, especially since I had no known risk factors that could explain the diagnosis.

As I began treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, I faced challenges that affected not only my health but also my confidence. Like many people undergoing cancer treatments, I experienced changes to my hair, skin, and overall appearance. By the second week of chemotherapy, my hair began falling out from the roots, and I made the difficult decision to shave my head. There were days when I barely recognized myself in the mirror, and I often felt lost.

During this difficult time, I discovered the importance of self-care because it felt like the one thing I could still control. Cancer seemed to be taking away everything that made me feel like myself. I began researching natural botanicals, nourishing oils, and ingredients that could help support healthy-looking hair and radiant skin. What started as a personal search for products I could trust—not only for myself but also for my family—quickly became a passion and a purpose.

I created DLC Glow Cosmetics to help others feel beautiful, confident, and empowered at every stage of their journey. Whether you are a working mother or father, a student, a cancer patient, someone living with an autoimmune condition, or simply a person looking to care for yourself, these products are for you.

Hola, soy Claudia, fundadora de DLC Glow Cosmetics.

DLC Glow Cosmetics nació de mi experiencia personal con el cáncer, una experiencia que cambió mi vida para siempre.

Soy madre de dos maravillosas hijas y, mientras manejaba las responsabilidades diarias de ser mamá y trabajar, algo que cambiaría mi mundo para siempre estaba ocurriendo en silencio. En Diciembre del 2025, fui diagnosticada con cáncer de lengua. Me sentí sorprendida y devastada. No podía entender por qué me estaba sucediendo esto, especialmente porque no tenía factores de riesgo conocidos que pudieran explicar el diagnóstico.

Cuando comencé el tratamiento, incluyendo quimioterapia e inmunoterapia, enfrenté desafíos que afectaron no solo mi salud, sino también mi autoestima. Como muchas personas que atraviesan tratamientos contra el cáncer, experimenté cambios en mi cabello, piel y apariencia general. Para la segunda semana de quimioterapia, mi cabello comenzó a caerse desde la raíz y tomé la difícil decisión de afeitarme la cabeza. Hubo días en los que apenas me reconocía en el espejo y, muchas veces, me sentía perdida.

Durante este difícil momento, descubrí la importancia del cuidado personal porque sentía que era la única cosa que aún podía controlar. El cáncer parecía estar quitándome todo aquello que me hacía sentir como yo misma. Comencé a investigar sobre ingredientes botánicos naturales, aceites nutritivos y componentes que pudieran ayudar a mantener un cabello de apariencia saludable y una piel radiante. Lo que comenzó como una búsqueda personal de productos en los que pudiera confiar, no solo para mí sino también para mi familia, rápidamente se convirtió en una pasión y un propósito.

Creé DLC Glow Cosmetics para ayudar a otras personas a sentirse hermosas, seguras y empoderadas en cada etapa de su camino. Ya seas una madre o padre trabajador, un estudiante, un paciente con cáncer, una persona que vive con una enfermedad autoinmune o simplemente alguien que busca cuidarse mejor, estos productos son para ti.
